Amazing Chocolate Pumpkin Cake with Salted Caramel Frosting

Every fall pumpkin cake is a must! This cake that we have to show you today has very interesting outside appearance, with little darling pumpkins for decoration, and incredible delicious taste. The number 1 cake for Halloween, but you can make it whenever you like for your own pleasure.

The cake itself is a combination of pumpkin, lightly spiced, chocolate with more chocolate bits mixed in for that extra hit, moist and rich (but not too rich) cake. Prepare this amazingly beautiful cake with salted caramel frosting and enjoy with your family and friends. You will see that it is totally worth to make this dessert!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1 1/4 cups dark brown sugar
2/3 cups sugar
3/4 cup canola oil
3 large eggs
1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup sour cream

3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped finely
