Various types of icing can be used such as vanilla butter cream for the purpose of decoration. The cupcakes look very tempting when served in cupcake holders.

Blue little sparkles can be added to the top of the icing which gives the cupcake an irresistible look. The sparkles are called Blue Magic and can be made from granulated sugar, blue color gel and corn syrup or liquid glucose.
