Chocolaty, minty, and totally tasty!
Cupcakes are easily among the most favorite sweet treats for a lot of people. After all, they are as delicious as a cake but served in small bite sizes. With cupcakes, it is easier for your conscience to justify eating half a dozen or more of them than having a second slice of cake. Seriously, here is a chocolaty and minty treat you cannot resist – Dark Chocolate Mint Grasshopper Cupcakes!
The frosting is half the cupcake and it is as amazing as the cupcake itself. And since buttercream is way overused, lets use fresh whipped cream this time. What makes it even better is the mint extract added to the cream. With a little green food coloring and a little more chocolate syrup for garnish, is not a bad idea either.

1 cup heavy cream
½ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp mint extract
3 drops green food coloring
2 Tbsp chocolate syrup (garnish)
6 Andes chocolate mint candies
