Classic Chocolate Cake

Delicious and beautiful!

The classic chocolate cake has taken many forms over the ages. Many recipes have taken different takes on this most beloved dessert and this recipe is one of them. This recipe uses four types of chocolate, chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate butter cream and chocolate shards. The cake serves as the base component of this recipe and comes in multiple layers which are bound together by the butter cream.

The ganache is then poured all over the cake as a topping. It brings a certain smoothness and evenness to the cake. The chocolate shards are used as a garnish and are stuck on top of the cake which make it look like a historic gothic monument rather than a dessert.
