Decadent Mini Chocolate Ganache Cakes

Delicious mini cakes!

Ever had the requirement of small, individual and delicious desserts at a dinner party or any other festive occasion? If yes, then this is the recipe for you . This Mini Chocolate Ganache Cakes recipe consists of four components such as the chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate butter cream and the garnish.

The chocolate cake has a rich taste and a soft, spongy texture. The chocolate butter cream is used to bind multiple layers of cake and then the ganache is poured all over the top and the sides of the resultant dessert for a smooth finish. For the finale the cake is topped with a garnish of golden crystal sugar sprinkles and the sides are decorated with small shard of chocolate. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cake
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, room temperature
1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup boiling water

Chocolate Buttercream
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon heavy cream
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted

Chocolate Ganache
200 grams dark chocolate, cut into small chunks
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon corn syrup

Garnish
100 grams dark chocolate, cut into small chunks
1 tablespoon gold crystal sugar sprinkles
