Delicious Gingerbread Molasses Cookies

Soft, chewy and amazing!

These cookies are guaranteed to put a smile on almost anyone who tastes them. These thick, soft and chewy cookies are bursting with the flavor of ginger, cloves, cinnamon and molasses. These flavors of the festive season are bound to make your taste buds feel like Christmas even if it is no longer Christmastime! All the flavors work together beautifully and complement each other perfectly, especially the spiciness of the cinnamon and the sweetness of the molasses.

To make these cookies look as festive as they taste, just dip them into some melted white chocolate and then sprinkle some festive red, white and green sprinkles on top. These cookies are very easy to make and can be stored easily in an airtight box in the fridge for quite some time.

1 & ½ cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
½ cup molasses (not blackstrap)
4 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp baking soda
4 & ½ cups all-purpose flour
White almond bark, for dipping (optional)
