Deliciously Awesome Snickers Apple Icebox Cake

Apples and peanut galore!

You’ll probably go skeptical about apple and peanut being combined in one dish.  Will there be a battle of supremacy? No, as you will certainly drool over the perfect and balanced taste of these two delicious and healthy ingredients in your mouth.

To prepare the topping, you will just have to stir butter, apple, and sugar together in a pan for 8-10 minutes.  Then, separately, beat cream cheese until smooth before adding the peanut butter. When speaks form,  add in cream, and mix well.  Make two layers of crackers, filling, caramel and apples. Finally, spread the whipped cream, and top with chopped snickers and another round of caramel sauce. Enjoy!

Deliciously Awesome Snickers Apple Icebox Cake Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 large apples, (peel and diced)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8-10 large graham crackers
  • 1 8oz package cream cheese
  • ⅓ cup smooth peanut butter
  • ¼ cup powdered icing sugar
  • 2 cups plus 2 cups whipped cream
  • ¼ cup caramel syrup
  • 6-8 mini Snickers bars
  1. In a medium pan, melt butter. 
  2. Add brown sugar.

  3. Add apples.

  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until softened. Set aside to cool completely (refrigerate if necessary)

  5. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add peanut butter and sugar and beat until smooth.
  6. Add whipped cream and mix on low speed until combined.
  7. Line an 8×8″ pan with half of the graham crackers so that the bottom is covered in a single layer. 
  8. Spread with half of the cream cheese mixture.

  9. Drizzle with half of the caramel.  

  10. Top with half of the cooled apples. 

  11. Repeat layers one more time using remaining ingredients
  12. Spread remaining cream cheese mixture.

  13. Drizzle with half of the caramel.  
  14. Top with remaining cooled apples. 

  15. Top with whipped cream and Snickers bars. 

  16. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or until graham crackers are softened.

  17.  Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.
