Have Some Gooey and Chewy Swedish Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate is a universal language.

Kladdaka is Sweden’s answer to brownies. Much like a chocolate cake, it’s a national favorite that’s served either hot or chilled and with a scoop of creme fraiche or ice cream during fika or coffee time. This chocolate mud pie is rich, fudgy, and simply awesome. It’s sticky, decadent, and best enjoyed with good company. Best of all, it’s also very easy to make!

The gooey texture of the kladdaka relies on a precise baking time that will keep the center perfectly fudgy. The edge also acts as a fantastic crust. This recipe is made even better with the toppings. The berries are tipped in sugar, balsamic vinegar, and lavender for that interesting contrast of flavor that will surely blend well with the brownie. Add some sea salted creme fraiche and you’re good to go. Whether it’s with coffee or with milkshakes, you’ll love this brownie!
