The Not-So-Old Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie

Classic tasty delight

They say ‘old is gold’ and this old fashioned chocolate pie serves the saying justice as this pie is worth its weight in gold. This recipe doesn’t do anything new or have a different take on this classic recipe but it does perfect the classic.

The pie crust is homemade and is topped with a decadent, silky smooth and rich chocolate cream which is then topped with a finely baked with a meringue. The chocolate cream has the same consistency of pudding. The meringue is pretty easily made and has only two components namely egg whites and sugar, what’s better is that it barely takes ten minutes to bake!
