Refreshing Cold Chocolate Snacking Cake

Pure nirvana!

An everyday cake. You can make these simple chocolate cake whenever you like and eat whenever you like. You can eat it for breakfast, dinner or as a dessert too. It is kind of those cake that can take a bite from it whenever you walk beside.

This cake is like the Sara Lee chocolate cake, more like fudge brownie. It has dense and moist texture. A simple cake that can stay a few days in refrigerator. Make and you won’t regret it. Just take a glass of milk or cup of coffee and enjoy in it!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream

for the frosting
1 cup heavy cream
6 oz good semi sweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar, sifted
1/3 cup dark cocoa powder, sifted
