Super Yummy Chocolate Cake With Vanilla Pudding Filling Recipe

For the Sponge Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 lemon’s peel ((Grated))
  • 1 tbs vanilla powder ((or extract))
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 2 tbs cocoa

For the pudding filling:

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbs corn starch
  • 2 tbs all purpose flour
  • 1 tbs vanilla powder ((or extract))
  • 1 tbs unsalted butter

For the pudding cake:

  1. Break 4 eggs into a large bowl Add sugar Whisk until bubbles start forming When it is foamy, add milk and vegetable oil Add grated lemon peel Add vanilla powder (or extract) Add cocoa (sift before you add to avoid cocoa balls) Add flour and baking powder, using the same technique Sifting helps ingredients mix each other better Transfer the batter into a wide, greased baking dish On 180C (360 F) pre-heated oven, bake for 25 minutes Check if baked by dipping a toothpick into the cake You can use back of a pastry bag tip to cut circles! Keep the extras aside

For the Vanilla Pudding:

  1. Transfer corn starch and flour into a large pot Add sugar and vanilla Gradually add 4 cups milk while whisking Turn the stove on medium heat Keep whisking while it is cooking When starts boiling, add butter When butter melts completely, turn the heat off and let your pudding cool down Directions for the Service When pudding cools down, spread it all around the cake Crumble the left over cake balls Better if you keep in fridge over night before you serve! (Makes it more delicious!)
