Tasty Rainbow Chocolate Truffles Recipe

  • Colored cake crumbs
  • Icing/Frosting
  • White melting chocolate
  • Colored Sanding Sugar
  1. You will need red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple cake crumbs, in 6 different bowls. Add a small amount of icing to each different colour and mix with your hands until you have a playdough consistency. Take a small amount of each colour and press each of them together to form one ball. Set it on parchment paper, and repeat until all of the crumbs are formed into truffles.

  2. Put the tray of truffles into the freezer for about 20-30 mins. In the meantime, melt your white chocolate. When the truffles are frozen, bring them back out and place one into the melted chocolate. Make sure you cover the entire ball. Using a spoon or chocolate tool, place the truffle onto the parchment paper, and allow to harden.

  3. Once the truffles are all completely coloured, you can pipe a design onto the top of them using the melted chocolate in a piping bag. Before the chocolate hardens again, sprinkle the sanding sugar onto the tops of the truffle.

  4. Happy Baking!
