We’ve all had a fortune cookie before, but have you ever made one?

Fortune cookies are fun to eat because you want to know what your fortune says inside. The great thing about making your own fortune cookies is that you can write out whatever message or fortune you want and insert it in the cookie! You can even write bad fortunes if you want to prank your friends (wink).

For the cookies, you will need egg whites, vanilla extract, lemon juice, vegetable oil, sugar, All Purpose flour, cornstarch, water, food coloring, and a pinch of salt. These fortune cookies take some time and precision to make, so be sure that you give yourself adequate time so you aren’t rushing. The result will be a fun treat that you can hand out during your Christmas party or any other event that you will be attending. Everyone will surely enjoy reading their fortunes and eating the cookies at the same time.
