You can make one of the most remarkable birthday cakes you’ve ever seen when you make a melting wax cake. Some people may think it looks messy, but it’s actually supposed to look that way and will look great once it’s complete.

All you need is a few different colors of food coloring and butter cream to create the melting wax effect. When you have your cake ready, simply drip the melted colored butter cream over the side of the cake.
