Pistachios are a wonderful nut that is a dessert plant and is highly tolerant to saline soil. These nuts are wrapped in a shell which bursts open a little revealing the nut inside. This recipe uses this excellent ingredient to make a dessert full of them with a creamy and smooth ice cream.

The dessert is bursting with the flavour of pistachios. This recipe gives you thrice the fun with the dessert having 3 different components to it. These are pistachio ice cream (prepared using a machine), pistachio sponge cake and pistachio crumbles. Top it off with a caramel crisp and serve. Enjoy!
