Delightful Chocolate Swiss Roll Cake

A Swiss roll is a magnificent cake and it looks quite difficult to make. Because of this, people often escape from making it and choose the easier way which is buying it. But the truth is, it’s not really so complicated and difficult.

A homemade Swiss roll is so much nicer than the store-bought one, and they are much easier to make than you might think. This chocolate Swiss roll has an unusual coffee flavor but if you’re not a coffee lover then you can make it with water too. Just glaze it with chocolate on the top. It will take you a couple of hours for entire preparation but the resultant cake is definitely worth the wait. Enjoy!

Chocolate Swiss Roll Cake

1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons strong coffee (or water)
6 large eggs, at room temperature, separated
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon table salt
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
