Mouthwatering Peanut Butter Chocolate Cream Pie

You don’t have to bake it just make it

I am a big fan of pies. No matter how much I have eaten, I still tend to make space for a piece of this soft, creamy and crunchy delight anytime. This recipe just gets even better when it comes to a pie. It requires no baking and the crust is made from Oreos which makes it even more scrumptious.

The recipe gets even better as it is egg-free too. So, even people who don’t like eggs or are veggies can enjoy this pie without any hesitation. The Oreo crust at the base and the creamy layer of peanut butter with whipping cream and chocolate shavings on top make it even more tempting.

Ingredients:

2 cups or 320g (11.29 ounces) plain all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups or 327g (11.53 ounces) sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp or 7.5g (0.26 ounces) gelatine (powdered)

1/2 cup or 125ml vegetable oil such as canola oil
7 egg yolks (or 105g (3.7 ounces))
1 cup or 250millilitres (8.45 fluid ounces) cold water

7 egg whites (or 252g (8.89 ounces))
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

To decorate 1 punnet strawberries, 600ml cream, 2 Tablespoons icing sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
