Special Valentine's Day Brownies With Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe
For Chocolate Brownie
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ tsp baking powder
For Peanut Butter Frosting
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 T. heavy whipping cream or milk ((*frosting will be creamier with cream, but milk can be used as well))
For The Assembly:
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Skewers
- Washi tape ((or scrapbook paper))
Chocolate Brownie

Melt butter in microwave, mix in sugar. Add in vanilla extract and combine

Add in eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.

Mix in cocoa powder, then add in flour and baking powder and combine.
- Pour into a greased heart baking pan or 9″ square baking pan and bake at 350 F for 15 min (18 min in a 9″ pan)
Peanut Butter Frosting

Cream together butter and peanut butter.

Mix in powdered sugar on low speed.

Add in heavy cream, mix until smooth
Assembly

Pipe peanut butter frosting onto brownies, drizzle with melted chocolate.

Cut skewers to be 3″ long. Cut washi tape into V-shape and tape to stick

*Alternatively, cut scrapbook paper into V-shape and glue to stick.

Insert skewer into brownies.
